If possible, I'll try to update/refresh this review when I've got more time, mileage, and different weather conditions. For ~$137 w/ tax and shipping, these are a REALLY good deal even from my initial impressions. Their nondescript, blacked out look with reflective material on the heel is well thought out, and it means they can be worn in different situation without drawing too much attention. YMMV, but these seem to be a good xhoice for beginner AND veteran riders looking for a basic sport-oriented WP motorcycle boot for everyday riding that isn't obnoxiously overpriced and gaudy AF. The build quality seems good, and design seems to have ample protection for the toe, heel, and ankle. I didn't notice any loose stitching, but it doesn't mean none won't come loose after break-in. I will say that during unboxing and inspection for defects, I didn't find anything beyond a few loose fibers here and there. I don't go out of my way to ride in the rain, but I HATE getting wet feet on a ride when caught off guard. NOTE that I have not run into any wet weather while riding, nor have I really tested the waterproofing by some other means. I pull the laces pretty snug, tie a double knot, and wrap the loose lacing from the knot around the outside of the Velcro strap so they're secure, but held away from the foot controls. So, I'd recommend that anyone get their usual size and expect to do some sort of break-in process off the bike like I did to get the materials to relax to the shape of your feet.
It's way better now after several rides!! With thinner socks (tip: dress socks are thin, comfortable) these boots fit snugly for safety and security, but are comfortable (even on a warmer sunny day in Michigan). That was stupid uncomfortable and my feet where dying at the end of the day, but it was better to do that than be distracted by such discomfort while riding.
I wore them to work (where I stand 90% of the time) with thick cotton socks to help break them in faster. Order your usual size, and they will be VERY snug during the first few times you wear them super uncomfortable. Break them in before riding!! You'll thank yourself when you're riding.
I think these are a decent pair of entry level WP boots, based on my initial impressions of a "break-in day" at work, and several sunny rides during free time.
